A public auction is an
Auction open to everyone. It is a structured forum, organized
and run by the Auctioneer. The Auctioneer works for the “consignors”, the
people that have consigned their merchandise to the sale.
Generally
speaking, a JUST AUCTIONS Sale is held as a “No Reserve”
auction, meaning that the items are sold to the highest
bidder. It takes
two people to make an auction; two people that want the same
thing. This can
create Auction “fever” which is where the fun begins.
What is involved
when you attend an auction? When attending an Estate Sale or Auction, the first
thing you will be required to do is to register. To register you must provide a valid Driver’s License
and a contact phone number. Once the receptionist has recorded your personal
information, you will receive a numbered Bidder Card. This
will be your bidder number for that auction. When you are interested in bidding, you merely raise
your card, high enough so the Auctioneer can see, then he will
accept your bid. Keep
the card up and you are sure to win!
Don’t worry
about scratching your nose, we will not take it as a bid! Auctions are so much fun! An extraordinary event where
the merchandise is always different and you never know what
unadvertised item you might find. A JUST AUCTIONS Sale is where family, friends can enjoy
the time together.
